Just recently it has become known that our bestselling book, The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, was “secretly” purchased soon after publication in 2017 by White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly, who realized it was a kind of “owner’s manual” on how to protect the nation and the world from Trump.

In August, I went on The Weekend Show, which has had a record-breaking 600,000+ views.  In September, Mother Jones published a major story about me headlined: “The Psychiatrist who Warned Us that Donald Trump Would Unleash Violence was Absolutely Right: The Vindication of Bandy Lee.”

In December, the United States House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol released a report that concluded: “the central cause of January 6th was one man, former President Donald Trump”—what we had known and warned against for years.  There is much more at my website, BandyLee.com, or my organizational site, WorldMHC.org.

I and my colleagues did not do this to be told we are right.  Rather, we told the truth because this was the right thing to do.

As some of you may know, after teaching at Yale for 17 years, great pressures were brought on the University, including by Trump ally Alan Dershowitz, and I was unexpectedly dismissed.  For the sake of our democracy, which relies on the ability of intellectuals and journalists to speak freely, I have launched a lawsuit.
