Let us not forget the true meaning of Thanksgiving Day is to give thanks to Native Americans that saw European settlers struggling to survive during their first Winter, & in grave danger of starving & freezing to death. These Native Americans showed compassion, kindness, & generosity, & brought these settlers baskets of food, skins & blankets for warmth, & more, including friendship.

Through the centuries, most Americans have forgotten the true meaning of Thanksgiving Day, & have increasingly shown less regard, respect, & appreciation of the Native Americans.

Let us remember that America is their longtime homeland. And let us remember other people's that have been displaced, marginalized, & subjected to apartheid-like conditions by settlers in their homelands.

The day following Thanksgiving Day is Native American Heritage Day.

Dear Dr Lee,

Thank you for this powerfully eloquent and inspirational piece on the Reality of Oneness.

Today, on the annual Day of Thanksgiving, we ought recognize the healing energy and power of Gratitude and consciously practice and develop this quality from within ourselves. We can strengthen our gratitude muscle for the betterment of All.

I am so very grateful to you for all your relentless courageous efforts to educate the public concerning the dangerousness of the pathology of fascism and those individuals who crave and chase after it. I learned a tremendous amount and gained keen insight from your plethora of interviews, discussions and articles. In addition to your expertise in the field of psychiatry, I especially appreciate your Masters degree in Divinity. This shines through in all your interviews and writings.

May the Universe bestow many blessings on you, always. Wishing you all good things, Dr Lee.

Dr Lee. Happy thanksgiving and best wishes.

Why much of our society is in discontent? Why people feel a void in their heart? Why people feel an inner dissatisfaction in today's world? What is the cause?

It's a complex matter but part of the answer i found was not in the books of religion or psychology or spirituality. A part of the answer is in economic history of our world and historical materialism that shaped our social thinking. I recommend two great books. One from the past century and one from this. The Affluent society by John Kenneth Galbraith and Technofeudalism by Yanis Varoufakis.

Affluent society explains many things of the world including how human desires and needs are created in today's world. Technofeudalism is a prophecy about technology and how it created worst form of capitalism and power of people like Elon Musk who are now the real controllers of political cretins like Trump.

Thank you. What I call the practical next step is in using this perspective in the face of vicious ruthlessness. I believe that at least some people have to survive to be able to take that next step, though I'm no martyr. Vicious ruthlessness goes a long way very fast (see blitzkrieg) for people who are that way. I hope to outlive it leading to their ruin in the long run (which it usually does), while being among those who survive for the betterment for all.

Beautiful message for a beautiful day. 🤝 My sister faces a life-challenging illness and her first concerns are for her family, her neighbors, especially the elderly ones who are lonesome. 😇 She threw an amazing dinner party for so many of us; we all contributed, but she made the day special. 🤗 This message by her example redounds to her gratitude and deepens mine. 🙏 G-D bless you and your family, Dr Lee, on this most blessèd of American holidays. ❤️
