I wish more Americans could see trump for what he is and what he will do if reelected. How is this possible?what is the matter with us? I can only hope that more of us are “woke” than comatose.

I want to say this is unbelievable! (I’ve been saying this for the past 9 years everyday). I know as an American that there is so much that we take for granted. We have to course correct, like a cargo ship in dangerous seas, we must turn the ship around now!

As a Canadian, I find that most people I know are increasing their awareness of what is a huge threat to Canada’s peace and prosperity - and not just because we share a very long ( “undefended” border with the US). So many issues of women’s’ rights ( abolishment of child marriage, contraception, education, and freedom of thought ) seemed to most of us as being inviolable! Why would anyone want to alter women’s’ access to health care and force women and girls to give birth to the children of their incest and rape?

Dr. Lee and all -- Fascism expert and historian Timothy Snyder, drawing on the lessons we must learn from the rise of Hitler’s fascism in Germany, just posted on his Substack ‘Thinking About...’ “How to Stop Fascism” 5 indices of commonality with America’s ominous situation right now, the following which seems most apropos today’s focus on addressing the psychological dimension of Trump’s threat:

“Citizens should not obey in advance.  Much of fascism is a bluff — look at our loyal cult, listen to our outrageous language, heed our threats of violence, we are inevitable!  Hitler was good at that sort of propaganda.  Yet to gain power he needed luck and the errors of others.  American fascism, likewise, is far from inevitable.  It too is largely bluff, most of it digital.  The internet is much more fascist than real life, which is discouraging.  But we vote in the real world.  The crucial thing is the individual decision to act, along with others, for four months, a little something each day, regardless of the atmospherics and the polls and the media and the moods.”

Thank you, Dr. Lee, for your 4th of July releases and for faithfully keeping us informed on the electoral activities of Trumpers and Biders; the former projecting and trumpeting confidence ahead of the November showdown, and the latter still biding their time. Due to the program factors previously outlined, I am wholly reliant on your Zoom recordings of this series (sunset progressively goes down to about 20:00h over months in South Africa, but the EST-SAST conversion also widens to 7 hours and back to 6 hours again in due course). G-d bless in the conscientization of thought leaders toward the November USA presidential election!
