Ken, I checked the schedule on the CSPAN website and the conference isn't there. Most of the media doesn't seem as alarmed as they should be. I think this is because of the unconscious process of denial...automatically suppressing awareness of whatever is too painful or difficult to deal with.
Dr. Lee needs to be nominated for and win the Nobel Peace Prize. Her visage has changed over the years as she suffers blacklisting, disparagement, and losing her professional status for warning the US public about a danger that may yet destroy the world. Tough as nails, smart as a whip, and as vulnerable as the rest of us, she keeps working.
